Solar power represents a mature technology for long-term projects; this is what makes it so comfortable to work with. Power systems are designed to last and therefore rarely require major alterations between design and implementation. The idea of self-contained power systems does not come without drawbacks: the idea of nuclear power is perhaps the most controversial example of a technology that takes a long time to roll out. Solar power has the same deal made recently public: it’s predictable, long-term and requires a lot of expertise. Thus, it’s good idea to separate once and for all the scope of the current technology. We will look at the scope of commercialization and evaluate its opportunities. As a solar start-up, we can create our vision of the future of energy. The first question would only be: what is the demand for this technology by the customers? The buyer is the final responsible for the choice of what you want to travel. Perhaps it has already been determined, however, as regretfully expressed in the last choice at the gas station.
Social media platforms can be used to encourage difficult conversations and long-overdue changes in a myriad of settings. In this case study, the authors present a case of using unplanned social media interactions to promote global change. The authors address ways to make use of social media platforms to help American women learn about and confront difficult and personal issues. The case study explores real-life examples of how social media may be used to move a movement forward and concludes by answering the question: what can be learned from the case study?
This book investigates the role of social media in expanding communication networks for youth offenders by comparing the Internet use of convicted juvenile offenders in South Korea and those in Uganda. Juvenile offenders in both countries were four times more likely to use the Internet than their counterparts in the U.S., and at least half of the males in each country were using social media to meet friends, meet new people and express themselves. Gender differences in Internet use were also observed, with males in both countries becoming more active users of social media during the study. The authors concluded that social media may be an important social network for youth offenders. d2c66b5586
