Read Matthew 11:28-29 (again, don’t dismiss this reading because of familiarity with Jesus’ words).
In these verses, Jesus asks us to do three things: come, take, and learn.
Which of these is the hardest for you to do? The easiest? Why?
Jesus describes what kind of people he wants to come. Those who labor and those who are heavy-laden (all of us).
Describe those-who-labor. Define heavy-laden.
Which one of these descriptions fits life right now?
What is the result if you come to Jesus?
What is the result if you take and learn from him?
Why will you find rest for your souls?
